Is There Evidence for a Higher Dose?

A lot of people take five grams a day. Is that enough to get any of those benefits? And if they were to go to more than that, would would they even if they wouldn't necessarily notice it? Or is there evidence of further efficacy? So the acute studies have shown that the loading face plus a maintenance phase of about five grams or so can't have some beneficial effects. There's only a few studies that have knocked on the loading phase and just went with a five gram dose. Ah. But it seems that a higher dose may be five grams or more for a longer period of time. I'm not seeing any evidence from all the research that a higher doses are detrimental.
