Kuiper says that Jesus actually did all of this through the power of his unfallen human nature. So, when Jesus commands a storm to be still, or when he multiplies lobes and fishes, he's not actually, let's say, power that is drawn from his divine nature. He's just doing things that the first Adam could have done as well. And that's part of the serenity of Christ in this world. That he doesn't, like death, death has no hold at all in Jesus. Death can only catch Jesus if Jesus lets death catch him. No one can take my life from me unless I lay it down. But Kuiper says
