The Challenges of Transhumanism
It would be false to solely identify transhumanism with a libertarian Silicon Valley transhumanists who are just interested in who just focus on freedom. A proper understanding of freedom needs to take into consideration that a too strong hierarchy undermines freedom itself and then other elements need to come relevant, for example, the element that in order to be free you also need to be healthy - being healthy is prerequisites for the achievement of freedom. And as a consequence of that, you would need a universal universal health insurance, and that's something which is an issue in the U.S., he says.
