PLOS One, Weekday Effects Attendance Rate

Study examined over 4.5 million hospital appointment records from Scotland between 2008 and 2010. They found that the did not attend rate was quote, highest for Mondays, 11% and lowest for Fridays, 9.7%. So it went down over the week until it got to the lowest on Fridays. The study found that the pattern was steeper for younger age groups than for older ones.
