An article that I saw you were a part of also looked at changes in public views across US states. The overall pattern was towards seeing increased perceived importance, thought that it was concentrated in these liberal states. But there was more of a divergence in changes in support for climate policy between more democratic leaning states and then more Republican leaning states.
