Pulsar Timing to Detect Gravitational Waves
The idea is there are a bunch of pulsars scattered throughout our galaxy. And essentially, we can tell whether or not the distance between the Earth and those pulsars is being changed by a passing gravitational wave. So if you look at correlations between when the pulses from all of these pulsars arrive at your radio telescope, you can tellWhether or not the Earth is kind of wobbling around in space because of gravitational waves.
