The Tent Poles of a Relationship

Every character in a movie is there to confront or challenge your main character's belief system. The one that's doing it, yes, the most, helps us see the change because of how they're responding and behaving with that person. I find that there are movies that sometimes get so big and they try to have so many relationships that in the end you don't care about any of them. That's what I really look for.
