The Average UK House Price - £168,000 - £294,000.
The average UK house price is now £294,000. Inflation over the last decade is average 3.9%. So on the whole property has beaten inflation by roughly 3% a year. Of course, that is the average you can outperform or underperform. And surprisingly Rob, because it's done so poorly over the last few years, the best region has been London.
