The Parallel Situation of the Conquest of Jericho

The Israelites circled the city of Jericho seven times. This standoff before the battle between the Israelites and the Syrians took seven days. What happens when the battle ensues? Well, the Israelites kill a bunch of the Syrians and then they flee into the city of Afeq. The walls kill tons of these of the enemy, just like the walls of Jericho fell down.
