The 16 19 project is a project about the legacy of slavery. It's not a project about women an gender, or indigenous people. And i never understand this critique that the project didn't address every other issues that have been used to divide people in society. If you look at history simply on a class basis, you can give examples, very short lived examples, of cross racial solidarity and then show how each and every one of those movements is destroyed by racism.
