The Power of Evil in the Western World
Jonathan Kahn argues that the Western world, starting with Judaism and then especially with Christianity, had this set up an effective covenant with God. He says we have abandoned all of the ancient gods in favor of worshiping the one true God. This has provided a level of protection over Western culture, over the millennia. But now as we are systematically rejecting this, it's opened the door for pagan gods to return. They've been pushed on the margins for a long time, but now they're coming back and they're comingback in force.
