If you like them, text people within three hours of hanging out with them. It is rude not to confirm that a good time was had. I don't care if we've known each other for 15 years. I would like verification of a successful hang. If you didn't receive a text from me within three hours after our hanging out, it would signal that I did not have a good time and I am simply not interested.
