The news about Chegg losing so much money in the past few months was a real indicator to me that perhaps my optimism about students not using it was ill placed. A lot of students are now using Chag GPT to do what Chegg used to do for them. We know that students cheat because of the grade. They don't cheat just because they think that's the fastest way to learn. So really bringing them back, decreasing that external stuff and taking them back to the value of learning is maybe the only way we're really going to tackle this.
