The IRS and the Tea Party Revolution

The IRS was basically gutted starting around shortly after the Tea Party Revolution 2010 thereabouts. Part of it was that there was this scandal kind of thing over whether the IRS was auditing at higher rates, some right wing groups that had the word Tea Party in it or something. If you want to reduce the size of the government so that you can ground it in a bathtub? You want to starve the beast by giving it, getting it less tax revenue then it'll be easy enough to drown in the bathtub.
