The Three Visions of the Lord
In the three visions that follow, the disaster cannot be averted. While amos interceded in the first two cases, he does not in the third and fourth. Beno lansberger has made a definitive argument against it. He argues that the word must mean tin rather than lead. And then declares the aftermath of the judgment that is coming upon the people.
