What Is Chinese Crisper Babies?

Two years ago in China a doctor used this technique that Jennifer doudna and her partner Emmanuel sharpen J invented for which they took the Nobel Prize. It's based on something bacteria have been doing for a billion years, which is keeping track of choices that attacked them then using a scissors to cut up those viruses if they attack again. In some ways very promising we can edit our children by saying let's take out the gene that would allow you to get sickle cell anemia or cystic fibrosis so that our children will be genetically healthy. The girl wasn't quite ready for us to be editing our children and creating designer babies but that's what my book is about.
