The bulk of the energy use is in training these models. A lot of work is going into making neural net computations happen directly on chip, so it's not even happening and soft ware. So you'll see these things becoming light weight enough to be not just in apple watches, but like little back packsthat you put on to animals to measure like their audio,. Like what twhat they're saying and how they're moving.
