Selling Yourself on Your Value
A lot of it is really selling yourself on your value before you try selling yourself to other people. I think that's so important because there's something about the way that, I don't know if it's because we just have this macho culture. It's like people think the negotiation is somehow in an adversarial process as opposed to what is the win-win scenario. That is a much more welcoming thought process to go into it with than 'I got a fight for my dainity and beat this other person into submission'
