This week, we look at the topic of stretch-mediated hypertrophy. A study by Warnakeen colleagues showed that a 15% increase in the muscle thickness of the calf could occur after only six weeks with no resistance training. The most recent one is actually a sex differences paper that got published in Frontiers in Physiology. It came out just about a month ago now and found some really interesting findings.
