The Death of David Bain

In David's initial statement to the police, he said that the first person he found was his mother. He then claimed he must have gone into shock, as he couldn't remember exactly what he did and what happened in the intervening minutes until the police arrived. Police later found blood on a towel hung up on a rail - which turned out to belong to Robin Bain. In an alcove of the family they'd built kind of a small home office area, beside a blinking cursor on the screen was a ten word note saying Sorry, you are the only one who deserved to stay.
