Can Gaming Really Improve Your Eyesight?
Recent research suggests the right sort of gaming can be actively good for your brain, and even for your eyesight. High action games have also been shown to increase grey matter in an area associated with abstract reasoning and problem solving. A study found playing 50 hours of high action games for nine hour a day improved contrast sensitivity by slightly less than one week. In other words you are better able to distinguish between shades of colour when driving at night or in poor visibility situations. And as we get older, something that I have discovered is that dark side of video games seems to get worse as we get Older.
