Is There a Redeeming of the Profit Incentive?
Animal welfare is one of the areas where, at some point, maybe, i don't know, between five and ten years ago, there was a reel like switch. The movement used to focus ovelly on individual consumer behavior but it's never going to achieve the scale of change needed. In europe, we're seeing a major overhaul of farm animal welfare. A legislation under way, and i think the potential really for europe to have world leading standards soon. Then we seng tentative legislative changes. Another possio too, like indiar china, a and in other countries where fiminal welfare still wants infancy.
