GTP3 Is a Large Language Model That Can Enhance Adaptive MT
The paper from Yasmin Muslim also a couple of her colleagues is they were looking to find out whether GTP3 which as we know is a large language model behind chat GPT is capable of enhancing adaptive MT so what is adaptive MT it is simultaneously improving the quality of new translations based on user feedback. The bit I think that we picked up on them and the somewhat interested in it also is slightly less common method of adaptive MT called fuzzy matches. This is where you're getting the model to learn from similar translations which are found inside of translation memories or TMs. Using fuzzy matches to then improve the quality of translation in real time so real time adaptation hopefully I've laid the groundwork somewhat there
