Why Do Christians Need It?

The question was asked, why do Christians need it? Why are we talking about this? Christians are nice people, right? They're supposed to be. And the reason is because we're promised in scripture that if we follow the Lord, if we desire to live righteous lives, Paul says you will be persecuted. Just following Jesus rightly will gain you enemies. You don't even have to raise your voice, you don't have to call names or cuss. To the contrary, if your enemy is hungry, feed him.
