Eskom has a formal just transition team that's looking into helping in multiple areas. Some of the strategies for Mpumalanga include leasing, Eskom owned land to renewable independent power producers. There are approximately 200,000 people that can be trained or re-skilled to work in the renewable energy sector. While the future is bright, the immediate implementation is tricky.
