The Importance of Letters in Christianity
The New Testament contains the most influential collection of letters ever penned. A small group of Jews in the first century named James, John, Peter, Jude and Paul wrote 21 or 22 on papyrus. Letters are a strange genre to claim to speak for God as we know they were written by humans. What does that tell us about the faith that produced and preserved these writings? How do we account for the humble letter becoming part of the bedrock of Christianity? I'm John Dixon and this is Undeceptions.
