What's Pushing Forward One Stage to the Next?

Each stage or phase has to have some sort of internal contradiction, that sort of tension, that is going to lead to a new development. There's an engine there, and that otherwise it would simply remain static. Isi, let's keep what was cool about having one person at the head, but acknowledge why people would rebel against that so that they're represented as well. Andw what d you think of that?
