Signaling in safety before 1946 was a haphazard array of whatever a specific rail road and believe me, there were no really. There were dozens of class ones in the U.S., not just for back then. So every mechanical department had their own idea of what they think they should use. And it was all like competing standards. That's about as much as you need to know for layman's point point of view. It's got a whole hour and 12 minutes before he gets fed. Oh, that's a boy. And then just how he feels. Of course it is. Good movie though.
