Just like when somebody goes on any diet or exercise, people are usually able to sustain their weight loss for about one year and then they slowly start gaining their weight back. So you know, nothing's impossible, right? There are probably people who can have this dramatic lifestyle modification and go off of it. But if we're speaking about the average person, yes, obesity is a chronic progressive disease that gets worse with age.
