Serotonin and Depression in People With Depression

People with depression should have lower seritonan levels, on average. This would be the explanation for why something like sesores are supposed o be working. We looked at and and none of that indicated that there was a deficiency of seritoning in people with depression. There is no interaction of the gean with adverse life events. But there was a very strong effect of adverse life events on your risk of developing depression or not. People on long term antu depressence showed some indications of actually having lower levels of seratonian.
