The Righteousness of God Through Faith in Jesus Christ for All Who Believe

When Jesus walked on planet earth, he never sinned. He was tempted in every way just like we are but went through all of that without sinning. And now he sits at the right hand of God, 100% righteous and our holy high priest who goes to God on our behalf. In theological circles, this is often called imputed righteousness,. meaning this is a righteousness that's given to you. It's not inherent in you, meaning it doesn't naturally exist as a part of you. You are acceptable to God because you have the righteousness of Jesus.
