The First Mic That Really Worked for Me
I remember the first mic, open mic I went to where I was like, I'm going to try to just say the lines that are funny to me. So I had been going to an open mic that was at UCB because I didn't know where else to go. The upright citizens were getting theater in New York. Yeah, they were open mics there and so I felt like this doesn't feel right. And then some friends who I had known in college through another friend, they went to a different school. They were like, we kind of want to do stand-up too.
