The Explosion of the Holden Commodore
The Holden Commodore had been packed with 12 kilograms or 26 pounds of jell Ignite. Three cars were destroyed in the six explosions. Constable Angela Taylor was closer to the explosion and was caught in the inferno. She suffered horrific burns 70 to 80 percent of her body. There were around 20 people injured in total, half of whom were police officers. The force of the blast sent Constable Denario flying back 15 metres in the air. He required emergency surgery that night.
