Our subtle body, the technical term is sukmasharira, can reflect consciousness. There in the person next to you, you are not experiencing consciousness. The awareness which you feel right now is not brahman itself. It's the reflection of brahman in our minds. And that's enough for all our empirical purposes,. To talk and speak and hear and and love and hate and fighte and and do witante. So then why bother with brahman? If reflected consciousness is enough, without brahman, no reflected consciousness, it's like saying, at night, moonlight is enough.
