Persephone: It's extraordinarily difficult to assess whether either who's done what right because we simply don't know enough at the moment about the allegations. The BBC obviously the director general Tim David came out yesterday and said they thought they were serious allegations when they were first told in May. As someone who's been covering this story though since it broke I can definitely say we have been definitely kept in the dark or are in the dark about what the evidence actually is.
