When you negotiate, always try to get them to say their number first. Who knows, maybe it's more than you're even going to ask for. Start more aggressive than you want to end up because somebody is going to come back to you with something that is lower than that. And if you have said the number that you want, you either have to capitulate and and come down from that, or, like, you have to walk away.
