The Role of Legs in Human Height

The researchers used ratios instead of absolute lengths. They found that if you have long legs, you're likely to have long arms as well. The extra length tends to come from the lower limb or the limb that's farther away from the body. It looks like human height is mainly driven by leg length and not torso length.
