The Rise and Fall of Infosys
In 1981 Modi poached six engineers to set up Infosys, moving its headquarters to Bengaluru in 1983. Some of their early clients were American clothing companies including Reebok. But the Infosys upstarts couldn't start making history straight away. In order to grow they first needed to fight a bureaucratic war against the Indian system.
