The Sound of a Modular Home

No cars in front of the first two I saw and no signs of habitation. Only at 104 educators' lane that it seemed like there may have been an actual resident. The colony had the atmosphere of a cemetery, no relatives came to, and no caretakers tended unless the calendar told them it was time. A smooth hum with a kind of ripple to it, seeming to come from close by and far away at the same time. It looked like the cover of an album of new age music.
