I was pretty lost and pretending not to be lost. Still grieving. Everything says she tried to put on a good face and move forward. She got a job teaching English as a foreign language in Portugal. But I think that emotionally I was still incredibly vulnerable. Well in fact I know I was emotionally vulnerable so while there was a lot of fun and there was relief in not being surrounded by the familiar, I was pretty lost."
