The Mortification of Borges
Borges and Nora Lang were in the same Buenos Aires avant-garde scene. She wrote a novel that is very thinly fictionalized version of basically her life. Borges has other romances, but he never really gets over Nora. The story describes the secret enmity between Clara Glencarn and abstract painter Marta Pizarro.
