Ayurveda Needs More R&D
There just isn't that kind of research into which Ayurvedic medicines work, don't work. You can have trials on whether some of these concoctions which help you get over the flu a little bit quicker or which release certain kind of gastric problems actually work better than all your allopathic medication. So this seems to be almost a question of testing and manualizing. Is that a problem or is that the problem? I think it's the problem. It has 5,000 years of R&D behind it. What it doesn't have is any sort of, it's not been put under the scrutiny of modern science.
