I don't have shame about having a gay parent. Where there is shame and talking to David this morning, we were trying to talk through this a little bit just so that we can get context to kind of bring it to the podcast. There is more so shame after I decided to really dedicate my life to Christ and really live his life a more sanctified way over the last couple of years. So where the shame comes up for me sometimes is like, how can I choose to follow this faith or be a believer and have a gay parent knowing that there's people within this faith that do very nasty things?
