Book Review - The Death of a Young Girl
There is a kind of layered notion to the, I don't know if I should use the word purpose of the novel. There are reasons that people are obsessed with what's going on that are maybe a little bit lurid, but it is also genuinely an interesting case. Bodie talks about in her childhood always feeling like there was some audience, someone was watching her in some way. And so when she sets foot back on campus, without quite at first knowing why the person that she is thinking of, she's narrating her actions too.
