The Separation of Church and State in Crypto Exchanges
The EDX exchange is about separating out functions that in most crypto exchanges have been vertically integrated. It says later this year, EDX plans to launch a clearing house to facilitate the process of settling trades. But even then it plans to use third party banks and a crypto custodian to hold customer assets.
