Many Koreans are overwhelmed by this and end up committing suicide, for instance. The drive to achieve is causing a whole load of like psycho social problems because of that sort of model of achievement,. So you have this strange situation where say Asian students are achieving so much, but then we hide the fact that it's taking this psychological toll on their minds.
