The President Wants Younger, Fresher Senior Judges

The president announced four nominees for district courts on Monday, including a selection for a state with two Republican senators. One big problem that you're alluding to is there are many vacancies that are unfilled in their questions about whether the Republican senators in those states are cooperating. The classic examples are in Florida and Texas, where I think both have four emergency vacancies right now. And it's possible that we'll see less vacancies in the red states.
