There is a on the subject of Ishtar and sitcoms, there is a reference to Ishtar in an episode of Red Dwarf. There's a joke about going back to tell Dustin Hoffman and Warren Baidine not to make Ishtar. So that's how notorious it was as a flop in British sitcoms. It was it was a byword for catastrophic failure. And Robert Downey Jr. was considered like the great actor of his generation. And then he got really into heroin. And kind of was in and out of jail a couple of times. But at the time, the idea is like giant movie star big like Oscar caliber actor had like done his time in prison.
