What's the Right Balance Between Government and Private Business?
The key idea ingrained in the american constitution is that you need conflict between powers. In recent decades we've been tending toward the absolute power of private business, and that that corrupts. And so the issue is, how do you safeguard the balance? I don't think that you can set rules in place that will work all the time. You need to have the fluctuation of a democratic endorsement.
