The Importance of Playing in the NBA Tournament

With the play in now, it seems like an obvious thing that you should do the fair and obvious thing. And I've never heard a compelling argument for why it's a bad idea. So Boston should have had their choice of who they wanted to play. Let's count the stats from the play in games as playoff stats. There's no reason that those stats just go up in the ether and they're not recognized anywhere. That's ridiculous. You can't find them. You can barely find them.
